  • Consultation with the dentist to discuss your dental concerns and goals

New Dental Patient FAQs

What should I bring to my first dental appointment?
Please bring your dental insurance information to your first visit. Be sure to submit your digital new patient forms before your first visit.

Does Lanier Family & Cosmetic Dentistry accept dental insurance?
Yes, we accept nearly all dental insurance. While we do not participate in any managed care dental plans, we can still provide you with dental treatment and assist you with the claims process. Many of our patients see us as an out-of-network provider and still maximize their insurance benefits.

Does Lanier Family & Cosmetic Dentistry see children?
Yes! Dr. Brown and Dr. Newberry are family dentists, we recommend bringing children in at a young age so they can meet the dentist and become familiar with our practice. The American Dental Association recommends that infants and toddlers see a dentist by the time the first tooth has erupted. Children should receive routine dental care just like adults, typically every 6 months, to maintain the best oral health and prevent tooth decay.
